ECOTHERM: 100% RECYCLED AND RECYCLABLE

Ecotherm is a performance infill for artificial turf systems – its granules composed of non-vulcanized thermo-plastic polymers and fillers of vegetable origin (cellulose based).

TEMPERATURE OF THE PITCH ALWAYS UNDER CONTROL
Thanks to its thermoplastic nature and to the cellulose incorporated in the extrusion compound, the Ecotherm granule is able to retain up to 30% of its own weight in water, lowering the temperature of the playing surface by over 20 °C through the process of evaporation (data certified by International Accredited Laboratory).

Dimensional stability of the surface is enhanced by the intrinsic properties of the infill; the controlled granulometry and irregular prismatic section of the Ecotherm consistently reduces the splash effect typical of polymeric turf infills. Ecotherm has of the lowest density registered for a TPe infill, allowing lower quantities of material to be installed inside the system with consequent financial gain for clients and investors.

Ecotherm is resistant to atmospheric agents and UVA UVB rays, providing excellent resistance and durability in the long run.

ECOTHERM: CIRCULAR PROCESS

Thanks to its patented technology, Ecotherm is the first non-vulcanized thermoplastic infill material produced entirely using secondary raw materials coming from pre-consumer industrial waste and transformed by a certified supply chain.
Also 100% recyclable at the end of its life cycle, Ecotherm is one of the options Limonta Sport developed with the aim to pair top playing performance to sustainable, long term and efficient solutions for the environment.

100% RECYCLABLE
“Plastica Seconda Vita” Certification Ecotherm is manufactured with a prevalent content of recycled material traced and quantified in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 14021 standard; its composition makes it fully recyclable at the end of its life cycle.

SAFE
Ecotherm is anti-abrasive, non-toxic, in compliance with the standard EN 71-3 on toy safety and DIN 18035/7 that specifically regulates the characteristics of the infill used in the construction of artificial turf surfaces at International level.
