Atletico Madrid is one of the top club in Spain, a club with a long tradition that in recent years found incredible results at International level, adding important trophies to its history such as the UEFA Europa League Cup in 2010 and 2012, and the UEFA Super Cup in 2011.

The club is really focused on the detailed preparation of the first team, as well as the growth of the young players of its “cantera”, the new generation of talents that year by year allows the club to compete with the other big names of the European football scene.

The teams were practicing on an old generation football turf, a system not suitable for the needs of a professional team. The condition of the pitch pushed the professionals and the older sections of the cantera to practice in other part of the facility, due to the instability of the football turf and the risks that such a surface represents for the muscles and articulation of adults.

In Spring 2012 Limonta Sport Iberica was chosen to give a new look to the facility, installing a new generation football turf, already chosen by AC Milan, Ajax Amsterdam, Spartak Moscow, Club Brugge, Villareal, Standard Liegi, etc..

Great satisfaction was express by Atletico Madrid at all level, from the players to the coaching staff to the management who know see the advantages of having a top playing surface available for the development of the players on a daily basis.

The new football field enhances the skills of the most talented players, helping all the teams to express the fast and technical playing style traditionally associated to the history of Atletico de Madrid.
